Ejike Ugboaja FC, proved their worth in recent friendly matches held in Abuja. The team had in two separate matches held at the premier academy play ground, lugbe in the first week of April 2022, trashed ‘One Touch Football Club (OTFC) 3-2.
The outcome of the match, raised the morale of the boys to increase their striking performance on the second outing in April at MK field in Apo, the team defeated their opponent in a brilliant display by scoring 2 – 1 against the competing team.
Olympic Hybrids scored their first goal in the first half , while EJIKE Ugboaja FC equalized in the second half with a tricky shot off the penalty box by Joel Ezra, that escaped the grip of the goal-keeper into the net.
In the 86th minute, Aliyu Talimu converted a pass with a thunderous shot from the middle of the penalty box , that left the keeper gazing at the air as the ball shoke the net for Ejike Ugboaja FC second goal. It was an exciting match.
Fans of the Ejike Ugboaja FC who have been following the upcoming team’s performance coupled with their ingenious ability in goal scoring, elevated the team as a promising and outstanding team with great future.
Soccer watchers project that the team will soon dominate the soccer space in Abuja, if they continue demolishing their opponents progressively.
The director sports told NDM that Ejike Ugboaja FC has played a total of 9 games and were unbeaten. This record has been positioned to favour them in their planned European friendly tours and the upcoming June football fiasco; which EUFC fans are looking forward to attending all their future matches in Abuja and beyond.
Sports analysts, who are marveled by Ejike Ugboaja FC astonishing performance, aver that their current fitness and stability makes the team to be the one to watch and to beat in future football matches in Nigeria and diaspora.

Meanwhile, when National Detective Reporter interviewed the teams sporting director Mr. Mike Okafor, he said, ‘the boys gave a good account of themselves’. Mr. Abdul Bello, the Team Manager of Ejike Ugboaja FC, attributed the success of the team to its April outings on ‘hard work and obedience with Consistent training’.
In another telephone interview with the sports correspondent of National Detective Magazine (NDM) the founder of the Team, Mr. Ejike Ugboaja, said that “Nigerians are yet to see the best of the boys”. He added that arrangement was on to engage the team for an European friendly tour matches, stating that by the time they come back from the tour in June, the team will play alongside 43 teams for professional scouting. “The team will face 43 teams in Nigeria in its June 2022 Programme to unveil the team in a scouting match involving 22 European soccer scouts, Abuja will produce more new professional players to the benefit of the players and to the benefit of the Nation” Ejike Said..
Meanwhile the team will be playing in Niger State on Easter Monday, as part of its strategy to further strengthen the players .
