AS OTHERS FLEE FROM SUPERIOR POLICE FIRE

Katsina State Police Anti terrorists unit, raided a suspected terrorist hideout after credible intelligence revealed the presence of the terrorists at a black spot in Maizuma village, Danja LGA of Katsina State.
Responding to the Intelligence report, police led its special team to the hideout and engaged the bandits in a fierce gun duel on 20 August 2022 at about 0730hrs.
The team successfully repelled the terrorists and neutralized one of the terrorists in the course of carrying out surveillance around the hideout, the following exhibits were confiscated: (1) locally fabricated gun, (2) military camouflage uniform, (3) machetes and Dagger, (4) one hundred (100) bottles and a gallon of Spirit (5) Some quantity of dried leaves suspected to be Indian Hemp, (6) two Boxer motorcycles (7) three (3) car batteries (8) one Sewing machine, (9) Roll of cable wire, (10) two cooking gas cylinders.
