Governor Soludo has received members international community who visited the state to access areas they can help the state for its development.
The visitors were received on arrival at the Anambra International Airport, Umueri, by Governor Chukwuma Soludo , who led members of the International Community and Foreign Development Partners to the Government House, Awka for State briefing.
The International team disclosed to journalists that they were in the state to ascertain developmental areas they could help the state to grow .
The visiting team which was led by His Excellency, HC Catriona Laing CB; British High Commission, Mr Martin Huth; Embassy of Germany: Charge the Affairs, His Excellency Amb Samuela Isopi, led the European Union Delegation as the Head of Delegation.
Others members of the team include ; His Excellency, James Christopher , High Commission of Canada, His Excellency Thami Mseleku; High Commission of South Africa, with Mr Ari Aisen; Nigeria Resident Representative of the International Monetary Fund,
Other, visiting dignitaries on the fact finding also include; His Excellency Amb Mary Beth Leonard of the U.S. Embassy: Ambassador, Mr Matthais Schmale of the UN System in Nigeria, he is the Resident/Humanitarian Cordinator, Dr Erasmus Morah Country Representative of UNAIDS and last but not the least, Mr Mohamed Yahya who is UNDP: Resident Representative in Nigeria, With Mr Robert Representative European Community in Nigeria.
Anambra State citizens are optimistic that the visit by this high caliber teams will bring great development to the state.
